December 10 from 11 AM – 5 PM at the Krause Family Skate/Bike Park in San
Diego (a.k.a. Clairemont YMCA Skatepark:
skate-park.html ). In addition to raising cash and morale for Dave, it’ll be an unreal
time with demos and competitive events for Masters and today's current top Pros, including
some of Dave’s friends, skateboard icons, and legendary riders like Tony Alva, Jay
Adams, Steve Olson, Duane Peters, Christian Hosoi, Lance Mountain, Chris Miller,
Scott Oster, Tmag, Andy Macdonald, Bob Burnquist, Bucky Lasek, Ryan
Sheckler, Jake Brown, Mike Rogers, Zack Miller, Mimi Knoop, Cara-Beth Burnside,
and many more! Plus, emcee duties fulfilled by “The Voice of Skateboarding” Dave

The festival will also feature live killer music and catering by BULL TACO.

Three Awesome events will take place through the day, with prizes and trophies
awarded to the top three in each event:

1) POOL JAM CONTEST – Jam Format, All Ages, $10 entry. At the end of the Jam,
Legendary Pool Riders Steve Olson, Jay Adams, and Tony Alva will decide the
winners of the following categories: Best New Jack, Most Ripping Girl, Meanest
Hackett Slash, Best Trick, Best Lines, and Best Grom!

2) VERT RAMP HIGH AIR CONTEST – Jam Format, All Ages, $10 entry.

3) STREET COURSE DEATHRACE – All Ages, $10 entry: Two runs will determine

the fastest man, woman, or grom through the course!

In addition to these events, there will be a festival area with surf and skate
companies selling products and doing give-aways. Entry fee to the event is a
suggested donation of $10.

This year the HACKETT-SLASH FEST will Benefit Dave and help cover his medical
bills, but next year maybe someone you know will need the support.
